CO2Meter, Inc. This client wanted to sell indoor air quality products online. The goal was pure e-commerce. Since 2009, through SEO best practices and targeted Google Adwords, sales have risen to over $2M per year online. In addition, if you Goggle “CO2 Meter” you’ll see this web site ranks in the top few positions on the first page.
Signs by Crannie. Like most clients, the folks at Signs by Crannie had lots of ideas but no one to crystallize them into words. Over two afternoons, I was able to interview the owner, then write all the copy for the website. The client provided raw photography, and I put both together using a commercial WordPress template. The client has since risen from no website presence in Google to 1st page for many of their search terms. In addition, the companion Facebook page rose from under 100 to over 350 engaged followers in the first 12 months through posting alone.
JD Photo Imaging. I served as the liaison between the client who was looking for a complete website redesign, and the company contracted to actually design the web site. In addition, I wrote 100% of the content for the site, created the blog, and have written over 500 articles on marketing professional photography for the blog and the weekly newsletter.
Military Vehicle Web. This ongoing project was designed to promote a conversion from a hobby to a real, online business. The client spent very little money on this WordPress template-based site, and was taught how to update it on their own.
Simen, Figura & Parker is an established law firm in the Flint area. They needed not only to update their website, but to raise their online presence in Google. By a combination of updating their website to a blog, creating a local online presence, and regular content-rich articles with targeted keywords, they are for the first time getting contacts via their website.
Jennifer Tremaine, Realtor started with no presence on Google. We started SEO with new marketing copy using targeted keywords, new photography and branding, new content-rich pages, social media and a link-building campaign. Jennifer now ranks as one of the highest-rated local realtors online.
Westland Camping Center. This client was looking for a way to integrate constantly changing inventory of RV’s entered into a 3rd party application with their web site. That way, they only needed to add new products once, cutting the work in half. In addition, they wanted the site to reflect a “family” image. If you go to Google and type “camper westland mi” you can see we’ve been able to build natural page rank by content without adwords or an “tricks” some web designers use.
American Museum of History. The client wanted a fast website that allowed him to showcase several videos and his non-profit project of bringing military vehicles to parades, schools, etc. This website was created in about a day using the free Weebly.com platform.
Max Inc Auto Sales. In order to get his dealer’s license, the client needed a website to prove to the State of Michigan he was a legitimate auto dealer. This one-off brochure site was created in an afternoon at a very low cost to fulfill that requirement.
LakeFenton.com. The client needed a quick way to get to the first page of Google for the competitive search term “lake fenton real estate” where he was making most of his sales. I created a basic WordPress blog, linked it to his MLS inventory, and began writing regular keyword-rich content. In 30 days, not only was this website on the first page of Google, but it was driving targeted traffic to his personal site. In addition, the companion Facebook page now has over 550 followers.
Runyan Lake East. This client was looking for a site to showcase a new housing development. The entire site – from graphics to copy – was designed to evoke a combination of an exclusive, yet family friendly lifestyle.
Clutter Free Organizing. The client had no web presence for her in-home business. Working with a graphic designer, we were able to not only give her a site to showcase her services, but taught her how to update it herself so that ongoing costs were minimal.
Solomon & Son Sheet Metal & Roofers. The client went from no web presence to a complete website featuring over 50 completed projects that he could show prospective clients on his iPhone. In addition, using SEO we were able to make him competitive on Google for his targeted keywords.
In addition to learning about each client’s business, I have worked closely with clients in the legal, RV, non-profit, insurance, and photographic industries.
